Tuesday night the longhorn JV and varsity softball teams took on the Pearland Dawson Eagles in district play. The JV team won 7-4 behind a strong pitching effort from Alyssa Osadchuck. The leading hitters were Emily Hoefer, Christina kuczynski, Rebekah Groppe, and Jayden Smith. The longhorn varsity won a hard fought game by a score of 1-0. London Diller pitched a complete game shut out giving up only 3 hits and striking out 10. Leading hitters were Taylor Pesina who went 2 for 3 and London Diller who drove in the only run of the game.
