The Women’s Longhorns basketball team competed in the Lady Ranger Classic tournament. In the first round they defeated Fort Bend Travis. The second round the Longhorns defeated summer creek. In the third round the longhorns defeated Westfield to make it to the championship game. In the championship game against Dekaney the Longhorns came up short but fought all the way to the end. Kearah Nails and Kendall Bess took all tournament honors due to their play throughout the tournament. The Longhorns play tonight at the Ranch against Mayde Creek , with the Freshman and the JV playing at 5 and the Varsity playing at 6:30.
