The Longhorn Varsity Baseball team defeated Terry last night by a score of 7-1. Josh Lapierre went 4 1/3 innings with 11 strikeouts and 1 hit. Cody Tiemann came in to get out of a bases loaded jam and Jake Zatopek closed out the last two innings. The Longhorns offense combined for 11 hits on the night including a Brad Armstrong 2 RBI double. Kyle Boudreaux, Joseph Menefee, and Lapierre each had multiple hits. The Longhorns take on the Lamar Mustangs this Friday at 7pm on the road.
