The Longhorns swept the Calhoun Lady Sandcrabs in Tuesday night’s softball action. The JV softball team won 17-4 and the Varsity team won 3-1. Offensive leaders for the JV team were Remme Loos, Kylie Kramr, and Lauren Burkett who all reached based multiple times during the game. For the Varsity team offensive hi-lights were: Kayte Martinez scored in the first inning, Jewelisa Zamora had a sac fly to right field in the sixth to score a run, and Kim Williams hit a homerun in the 7th inning. The team will start the second round of district on Friday at Foster.
