The JV softball team dropped a heart-breaker to Angleton Tuesday night. After leading most of the game errors cost the Longhorns and ended up losing 4-3. Nevada Dolnik had a strong performance on the mound with 9 strikeouts and only giving up 1 hit. Emma Glose had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s for the Longhorns. The Varsity softball team lost to Angleton 9-6 on Tuesday night. A rough start for the Longhorn defense allowed the Wildcats to jump out to an early lead. The Longhorns put together scoring efforts in the 6th and 7th innings. Kayte Martinez and Taylor Pesina led the scoring attack. Kayte had 3 hits and 1 RBI while Taylor hit a triple, a homerun, and had 4 RBI’s. The Longhorns will travel to Terry on Friday.
