Our football team came away with a victory this past Friday night against the Hasting Bears making us 1-0 in District play. Defense had a solid performance. Chima Amushie intercepted a pass and ran it all the way back for a Longhorn touchdown in the 1st quarter. Contributing in touchdown efforts on offense was Alex Fontenot, Jay’Ren Miller, and Sebastian Arellano. Antonio Jackson also threw a nice pass to Quintin Morris in which he made a nice move to get himself into the end zone. This Friday we take on the Dawson Eagles game time 7:00 PM at “The Rig” Pearland Stadium. We look forward to seeing you there!
